Pancake Day!

What a super afternoon we had on Pancake Day this year.

The children separated into team groups after lunch and had a team assembly discussing Lent and promises they are going to keep this year.

Next came the exciting part! The Races started on the top playground. There were six races alltogether; Reception, Years 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4, Years 5 and 6, Pre-School  and finally Parents and Teachers.

We were very lucky to avoid some hungry seagulls who were excited to see some dropped pancakes!

It was a tough competition but the winners were the Emerald Team with 10 points! Well done Emeralds!

A huge thank you must go out to Mrs Craker and the Friends and Family for arranging the tea and coffee – very welcome on a cold February Day!
