Class E (5/6)

Class E 1950′s, 60′s and 70′s Fashion Show

Class E successfully held a 1950′s, 60′s and 70′s Fashion Show, which showed how much they have learned in their history topic this term.

The children from the 1950s looked super dressed in leather jackets and greased hair! Some were teddy boys and the girls looked really authentic in poodle skirts, capri trousers and an authentic 50s prom dress! They topped it all off with some jive dancing!

The children from the 1960′s looked equally impressive with Jackie Kennedy, patterned ties, a member of the Beatles, mini skirts and polo tops, lots of spots and our very own Mod! To finish they all joined in with The Twist!

The 1970s brought most of the laughs with as we had so many children in huge wigs! Here we saw a hippie/rocker, a trendy tank top, some flower power, glam rock, a punk, a disco king and of course an aging Elvis! The Stayin’ Alive disco dancing rivaled that of John Travolta.

A huge, huge, huge thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who helped get the costumes together for the show and also for coming along to support the children. They had an amazing time and did a wonderful job of being models!
